Explore Wellington by Night
As Twilight rolls in we leave the city for Happy Valley and the South Coast. A short 10 minute drive through historic suburbs we are enjoying the solitude of the setting sun over the South Island. We have quite a bit to talk about as we roam along the coast before climbing the green belt spine of Mount Victoria to see the last of the daylight slide behind the hills. The bright lights of the big city lie below. We wind down the hill past the Roseneath villas to Oriental Parade with its Norfolk Pines. Then into the Otari-Wiltons Bush searching for glowworms. We finish with the Top of the Cable Car view before heading down into the city.
